Buhweju, Uganda – Hundreds of supporters turned up to watch an exciting friendly match between Buhunga Sub County FC and Bitsya Sub County FC.
The friendly match was played on Sunday, February 23, at Kyenjogyera Playground in Buhunga Sub County, organized by Buhweju Community Transformation Initiative Ltd (BCTI) through its Chairperson for Gender Affairs, Oyes Annet Byamukama Nnamara.
The highly contested match ended with Buhunga Sub County winning 5-4 on penalty shootouts after both teams drew in normal play.
Aloysius Tumuhimbise, Coordinator of Buhunga Sub County, thanked Oyes Annet Byamukama Nnamara for consistently supporting development in the district.
Local leaders, including councilors from various sub-counties and parishes, expressed happiness for BCTI’s vision of transforming Buhweju economically and empowering various categories of people through wealth creation Initiatives.
