RUBIRIZI,UGANDA – Prominent media personality and educator Hon. Tugume Muzafaru has officially wedded his partner Zamu Namatovu in a colourful ceremony that brought together relatives, political leaders, religious leaders, friends and voters.
The couple, now the new family of Hon. Muzafaru Tugume and Zamu Namatovu, have issued an official appreciation message thanking all who made the day successful.
In the message, Muzafaru said guests made the ceremony colourful, successful and unforgettable through financial contributions, prayers, advice, food and physical presence.
He said on their new journey they commit to love each other, respect their marriage, build a God-fearing family and continue serving the community with humility, honesty and dedication.
Muzafaru extended special thanks to his political pillars including his boss Hon. Cadet Benjamin Buturo, MP Bunyaruguru, Team Nalongo Jeniva and Chief Innocent Byamukama Innocent, Maj. Gen. Octavius Buturo and the Buturo family.
He also thanked friends and supporters, the organizing committee led by Mr. Seruwada Francis, religious leaders from Anglican, Catholic, SDA and Muslim faiths, his two families, service providers, the education fraternity from over 20 schools, SACCOs, boda boda community, journalists associations, Rubirizi District leadership and members of Rubirizi News Updates WhatsApp Platform.
The ceremony was attended by leaders from Rubirizi, Bushenyi and beyond, including security chiefs, educators and business community.
The couple thanked those who could not attend but sent messages and support.
