KABALE, UGANDA – The territorial police in Kabale are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male adult whose body was found floating in River Rwabahazi in Rugyendera cell, Rushaki Ward, Southern Division, Kabale Municipality.
The body was spotted by passersby on September 18, 2025, at around 9:00 a.m. Upon being informed, the Kabale Central Police Station (CPS) visited the scene, examined and documented it, and retrieved the body. It was then taken to Kabale Referral Hospital for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Anyone missing a loved one is urged to visit the hospital mortuary for possible identification and to arrange for a decent burial. Investigations are currently underway.
