RUBIRIZI – It was a hive of activity as unidentified individuals reportedly brought meat to the home of Sunday Kevina, the former LC2 Chairman, sparking controversy ahead of a visit by Minister Balaam.
According to local residents, Sunday Kevina had never prepared wild game meat at his home before, nor had he ever hunted wild animals. However, preparations to welcome Hon. Balaam Barugahara are now at the centre of controversy.
Meanwhile, the area chairman confirmed that he had never handled wild game meat before, not even to try hunting.
The matter has been taken to police for further investigation, and proceedings are ongoing.
