BUSHENYI – A yet to be identified motorcycle rider has survived death narrowly in an accident at Post Bank along Ishaka-Kagamba road in Bushenyi district.
The accident happened on Sunday 22nd December 2024 at around 08:30am and involved Motorvehicle UBH 412V Premio Silver in Colour and Motorcycle UFW 630R Bajaj Boxer Red in Colour.
Its alleged that the victim/rider entered the road from the left side abruptly and the driver of the mentioned motorvehicle who was at a closed distance knocked him and rammed into an electric pole.
Traffic Police led by No 28529 SGT Kabagambe Charles visited the scene, documented it and towed the motorcycle to Ishaka Police Station, then the motorvehicle was taken to Bushenyi Central Police Station Parking yard pending iov inspection.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident and stressed that officers attributed the accident to careless driving.
