BUSHENYI – Igara East Member Of Parliament Aspirant Mr Fabiano Gakyaro has revealed that he will front the fight against corruption since he wants to protect and defend his motherland.

Gakyaro was speaking to our reporter in Ibaare Trading Centre, Igara East Constituency On Sunday 2nd February 2025.
Gakyaro says Ugandans have fought corruption in defiance and lost at the hand of the Juntas but they have not lost Hope and beleives that the race shall be won.
Recently, he launched a book branded “Anti Corruption Prayer (Duwa)” where he wants the country to be safely liberated from the snares of the corrupt.
Fabian Gakyaro who lost in the 2020-21 election beleives that Ugandans should now decide to fight corruption since the corrupt men and women are unjustly thriving and enriching themselves and their families though useless and fruitless to other Ugandans.
He beleives that exposing corrupt members to the public can help on solving the unhealing disease in the country.
Gakyaro says exposure has worked in countries like; Albania, Turkey, Korea, Hong Kong among others thus beleiving that the system can also work in Uganda.
The Igara East Constituency Parliamentary Seat is currently held by Hon Micheal Mawanda Maranga who faces competition from other strong opponents such as Clayford Kirenzi among others.
