The Odinga family announced the passing of Beryl Achieng Odinga, a devoted mother and cherished member of one of Kenya’s most prominent political families. In a Facebook post, the family described Beryl as a devoted mother to Ami Auma, Chizi, and Taurai, and a loving sister to Senator Oburu Oginga, the late Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, and Akinyi Wenwa.
The family expressed their grief, stating, “It is with a heavy heart, but in acceptance of the will of God, that we announce the sudden passing of Beryl Achieng Odinga.” They took solace in the belief that she is safe in the Lord’s arms and were thankful for the time they shared with her.
Beryl’s passing has left an “immense void” in the lives of her loved ones, who remember her as a positive influence and a cherished family member.
