BUHWEJU, UGANDA – Nnamara Annet Oyes Byamukama, a dedicated leader from Buhweju District, has shared her journey of serving the community with passion and commitment. As the NRM Flag Bearer and Candidate for Buhweju District Woman MP in the 2026-2031 elections, she highlights her achievements and vision for the district’s development.
Nnamara’s priorities include promoting sports and healthy living, supporting farmers with inputs, and empowering women and youth through sensitization and economic initiatives. She has also promoted the pig economy, music industry, and religious activities, fostering unity and community development.
Education is a key focus area for Nnamara, who has mobilized funding to support schools, including building a girls’ dormitory at Butare SSS. She has also visited the sick and elderly, connecting them with medical services and providing emotional support.
Nnamara has attracted investors to Buhweju, established the Caravan Lounge, and built Voice of Buhweju offices. As a member of the NRM, she has promoted the party’s ideology, especially among the youth, and called upon President Museveni to visit Buhweju.
Nnamara’s manifesto emphasizes improved service delivery, economic growth, and community empowerment. She pledges to continue advocating for Buhweju’s development and asks for the community’s support in the upcoming elections.
