With unwavering dedication, Annet Oyes Nnamara embarked on a mission to turn her vision into reality. She began by engaging with local farmers, artisans, and entrepreneurs, listening to their challenges and aspirations. She discovered that many were struggling to access markets, finance, and technology, hindering their ability to add value to their products and services.

Innovative Solutions
Undeterred, Annet’s set out to design and implement a comprehensive program to address these challenges. She established partnerships with local organizations, NGOs, and government agencies to provide training, mentorship, and funding opportunities for entrepreneurs and farmers.

Value Addition Hubs
One of her initiatives was the creation of Value Addition Hubs, where farmers and artisans could process, package, and market their products. To further stimulate economic growth, Annet Oyes Nnamara introduced wealth creation initiatives such as Buhweju Community Transformation Initiative (BCTI), where various groups from all parts of the district have benefited by getting free piglets and entrepreneurship training programs, Village SACCOs, among others.

As Annet’s programs takes root, Buhweju People have began to flourish. Farmers’ incomes increased, artisans’ products gained recognition, and entrepreneurs’ businesses thrived. Today, our reporter met Madam Annet Nnamara Oyes Byamukama, a resident of Kashenyi-Kajani Town Council in Buhweju district who also revealed that her other aim is to bring on board new networks and friends from different circles for the people of Buhweju including benefiting more on the National Cake.

Our reporter also learnt that Annet Oyes Nnamara Byamukama who will be contesting for the 3rd time having lost controversially in the 2020 Primary elections is a re-known Farmer Practicing mostly Crop Growing (Tea, Coffee and Hass Avocado) and Live stock keeping.
