BUSHENYI, UGANDA – Bushenyi District LC5 NRM flagbearer, Twebaze Prosper, has rallied masses to vote for NRM for continued and sustainable development.
Speaking at the Presidential visit on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at Kizinda Playground in Bushenyi District, Twebaze requested the crowd to support President Museveni, who has initiated various projects driving Uganda’s development.
Twebaze, a former BFM Radio Presenter and Chairman of Greater Bushenyi Media Association, is standing unopposed for the chairmanship seat after his rival, Jaffari Basajjabalaba, withdrew from the race. Basajjabalaba’s withdrawal was driven by a discussion with President Museveni, and he is now supporting Twebaze’s campaign.
Twebaze urged voters to support NRM flagbearers, including Woman MP Hon Annet Katusiime Mugisha, Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality candidate Hajji Iddi Basajjabalaba, and others, up to the village/cell level in the upcoming 2026 elections. He emphasized the need for continued support for the ruling party to ensure stability and development in the district.
