Ntungamo,Uganda – Thousands of Christians in Uganda, including South Ankole Diocese and Sacred Heart Ntungamo Town Catholic Parish, participated in the annual Way of the Cross processions on Good Friday. The event, which re-enacts Jesus Christ’s journey to crucifixion, saw believers from various denominations come together in unity.
South Ankole Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe, urged Christians to reflect on the true meaning of the Way of the Cross and walk in Jesus’ footsteps. The procession featured dramatic re-enactments, prayers, and meditations on the 14 stations, emphasizing unity and faith.
