BUSHENYI – Police in Bushenyi district are hunting for asssilant(s) who allegedly murdered a 20 year old man in Kyabugimbi.
The deceased is Akankwasa Stuart a male adult aged 20 resident of Rutooma cell, Kitwe ward in Kyabugimbi Town Council whose body was found abandoned in his farm with wounds on the head and marks of torture.
Its alleged that the deceased left home on 18th March 2024 at around 6pm but didn’t return until on Tuesday 19th March 2024 when his body was discovered by Turyamureeba Ronald stripped, naked and abandon in his farm.
Relatives were notified and reported the matter to police and a team of detectives and Soco visited the crime scene for further investigation. The body of the deceased was conveyed to Kyabugimbi Health Center IV pending post mortem.
The Greater Bushenyi Police spokesperson SSP Martial Tumusiime confirmed the incident to this website stressing that inquries are still ongoing.
