RUBIRIZI – Ugandans have been tasked to work hard and make sure they eradicate poverty from their families.
This message was sounded by Rubirizi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) while presiding over an annual General Meeting for Bunyaruguru Sevelopment SACCO. The meeting was held on
recently 2024.
RDC Bruno Kikanshemeza warned residents against putting their National IDs as security in order to get money from illegal creditors(abakafuna) arguing that its against the law of Uganda.
Mr Philly Matsiko, chairperson Board Bunyaruguru development SACCO challenged members to avoid taking multiple loans and advised them to always pay loans incase they take them from any financial institution (s).
Madam Manuelina Gumisiriza, general manager Bunyaruguru development SACCO thanked members for supporting the SACCO arguing that they are experiencing steady progress due to their support and team work.
Bunyaruguru Development SACCO started operations 23 years ago and as of now they have 10,294 members with total assests amounting to shs 7,569,915,767 with shs 992,446,570 cash at bank.
