BUSHENYI – An accident at Kahaya – Omukagonero along Mbarara – Ishaka road has claimed life of a 40 year Old man.
Thr deceased is Kenneth Tumwesigye a boda boda rider at St Kagwa stage, Central division Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality who was riding motorcycle Reg No UFE 753Y Bajaj Boxer red in colour.
Its alleged that on 21st September 2024 at around 8:20pm the driver of motorvehicle UBK 958G was drinving from Bushenyi side going towards Mbarara side and collided with the rider of the above motorcycle which was from Mbarara side heading towards Bushenyi, the rider died on spot.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed this incident stressing that police team led by sgt Mukungu and No.40662 Cpl Mugabirwe Allen, “both vehicles were towed and parked at police yard pending I.O.V inspection”.
The body of the deceased was taken to KIU mortuary for postmortem though the driver of the motorvehicle is still on run.
