Bushenyi, Uganda – Kyeizooba Police station was alerted to an incident of aggravated robbery that took place on the evening of 22nd March 2025 along the Rwentuha – Bugongi road in Kararo parish.
The incident was reported around 9pm hours, with the victim being a Boda Boda rider who was attacked by an unknown assailant.
According to the report confirmed by Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime, the Boda Boda rider was hit on the head with a blunt object by the passenger he had picked up.
The attacker then left the rider unconscious before making off with his motorcycle.
The victim was quickly rushed to KIU hospital Ishaka for urgent medical attention following the brutal attack.
The police are currently investigating the incident and working on apprehending the perpetrator responsible for the robbery.
