According to Hon. Benjamin, the most worrying figure is that 43%, equivalent to 36,567 young people aged 14 to 30 years in Bunyaruguru, are not in education and not in any form of skills training.
He thanked residents for their feedback on sanitation yesterday and asked members to discuss the causes of the education crisis and possible solutions.
“This is the state of education in Bunyaruguru County at the moment. Members, what could be the cause that has led to this terrible state of affairs and what could be the solution?” Hon. Benjamin asked.
