MITOOMA – A yet to be identified motocyclist is nursing serious injuries at Kampala International University hospital Ishaka after getting involved in an accident in Mitooma town, Mitooma district along Mitooma – Ishaka road.
The accident invovlved the victim who was riding motorcycle registration number UFH 512F Bajaj Boxer and motorvehicle reg no UBG 802W Mitsubishi/ canter which was being ridden by Atwiine Bosco 22 years resident of Mitooma town ward IV in Mitooma district.
Its alleged that on Monday 14th October 2024 at around noon time, the driver of the motorvehicle was from Mitooma heading to Ishaka side while the rider was coming from the opposite direction and on reaching the junction to the market, the driver knocked the rider as he attempted to turn right.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed this incident stressing that the scene was visited by Cpl Wabuya assisted by Pc Kekibiina adding that both motorvehicle and motorcycle are parked at Mitooma CPS pending iov inspection.
