MITOOMA- A 30 year old man has survived being lynched by an angry mob for killing his own biological mother.
The suspect is Nsingwire James 30 years who murdered his mother Mbabazi Paradisi 58 years on 5th July 2024. Both the suspect and the deceased are residents of Nyampiikye village, Bukari parish, Kashenshero Sub County in Mitooma district.
Locals told this website that the suspect who was rescued and taken to Mbarara Regional Refferal Hospital is known drunkard and a drug addict who has always been violent. That even during Easter season he broke household items and the matter was reported to police, he was arrested but the mothet forgave him.
Its said that on 5th July 2024 at around 5pm the suspect became violent, ran after his brother Tumwesigye Amon who escaped and later he attacked his mother and killed her from the bedroom by smashing the head using a hoe. Neighbours responded immediately but the suspect had already killed the mother and the matter was reported to Kashenshero Police Station but officers found the suspect badly beaten in critical condition and they rushed him to hospital.
