KITABI Uganda National Roads Authority UNRA has started Kitabi section on Ishaka- Kagamba Road to erect up speed control points and signage to mitigate Road carnage.
UNRA has so far reached Kitabi section targeting to put up speed control points at Kitabi Parish junction cognizant of Kitabi Parish Congregation, St Jude training Institute, Kitabi Girls primary school and St Laura Health centre .
There is St Cecilia Girls Voc SSS that is to get also speed control points and lastly Kagarambi sharp corner.
UNRA Technician has said that they are to put signage to remind road users of the incoming sharp corner of Kagarambi.
The identification of these black spots on Ishaka- Kagamba Road were figured out in tandem with ingredients of Hon Katusiime Annet Mugisha’s letter tendered on floor of Parliament. Kanyehikiriho- Ibaare- Kitabi sections have claimed over 20 people including school going children .
