NEWS – Geofrey Matsiko, a 28-year-old laborer from Kyentama cell, Rukoni parish, Ntungamo District, tragically passed away after suffocating in a latrine during a lengthy restroom break in Biafra cell, Mbarara city.
Musiime Janat a resident of Biafra explained that deceased was last seen on Monday evening. However they were shocked on Tuesday afternoon when they discovered the deceased’s body floating in the waste after searching for some time.
The area councillor ,Buchana Asuman ,advised young people to avoid excessive alcohol consumption, which could endanger their lives.
The Rwizi Regional Police Spokesperson Afande Samson Kasasira said that the deceased’s body has been taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital mortuary for outopsy before they hand him to his relatives.
