BUBAARE – Parents have been advised to bring up their children in church and in God’s hands if they want to sharpen them for a brighter future and insert a seed of good morals at their hearts.
Its has been observed on several occassions where parents go to church mostly on Sunday s and leave their children at home.
This message was sounded by Rev Canon George Aharimpisya while preaching on Sunday 14th July 2024 at St Mark Church Of Uganda in Rwentenga, Bubaare Sub -county in Mbarara district.
He says the habbit of parents going alone to churches have made children idol and they end up being pursuaded to join evil habits mostly teenagers who end up going to bars, betting points, joining drug abuse gangs among others.
On the same day, atleast 3 christians were baptised into the Anglican religion where Canon Aharimpisya challenged their spiritual parents to make sure they perform they role of teaching religious morals to the newly welcomed christians.
