Sheema,Uganda – Kitagata Financial Services Cooperative Society Ltd has rewarded 482 members who participated in its shares promotion.
The promotion ran from April to September 2026. The rewarded members received various prizes including goats, mattresses, cupboards, basins, hoes and gas cylinders.
The award ceremony was held today. Speaking as Chief Guest, Mr. Edson Kamugisha urged members to embrace SACCOs as a tool to fight poverty.
The Board Chairperson, Mr. Edigar Mukundane, asked members to keep saving, borrowing and buying shares for the SACCO to grow. He hailed members for actively participating in the shares promotion.
The General Manager, Ms. Joanitor Nankunda, thanked members for their continued support and encouraged them to join the _Ekiterekye kya_ Christmas 2026 promotion, which has already started.
The event was organized by Kitagata Financial Services Cooperative Society Ltd in Sheema District.
