Kigezi, Uganda – Kisoro police are searching for 29-year-old Minsima Jonan in connection with the fatal assault of 45-year-old Kikooko Agrey.
The incident occurred on April 3, 2025, at approximately 6 PM in Nyamiyaga village, Nyamiyaga Ward, Nyanamo Town Council, Kisoro district.
According to reports, Agrey went to the Nyanamo Trading Centre for a social gathering but never returned home.
The following morning, his body was discovered in a potato field outside the village. The body, which was found lying face down with suspected bloodstains, was partially naked.
Local residents discovered several items at the scene, including a navy blue T-shirt, a pair of sandals, and a lime green baby’s T-shirt. Footprints near the body suggested the body had been moved from the road.
The crime scene was processed by the District Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) and detectives. Statements were taken from witnesses, and the body was transported to Kisoro hospital for a post-mortem examination.
