Bushenyi, Uganda – A fatal accident occurred on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at around 1:30 pm along the Ishaka-Mbarara road in Bushenyi, Uganda.
A motor vehicle, UAL 933R Canter (Bullion Van), collided with a motorcycle, UEP 192F Bajaj Red, resulting in the death of one person.
According to reports, the driver of the motor vehicle lost control and knocked the motorcycle while traveling from Bushenyi towards Mbarara.
Traffic police visited the scene, and both vehicles are currently parked at the Bushenyi Police yard pending inspection.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson, SSP Marcial Tumusiime, confirmed the incident and stated that inquiries are ongoing.
This accident is a tragic reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices.
