Rubirizi Uganda – In a shocking move, Boaz Ategeka has stepped down as the Head Coach of Bwera Boys FC, effective immediately.
Ategeka cited unresolved contractual issues, pending payments, and allowances as the primary reasons for his resignation.
“I couldn’t continue working under such conditions,” Ategeka told our reporter. “The team’s disorganization and lack of resources made it impossible for me to perform my duties effectively.”

Ategeka expressed frustration with the team’s inconsistent player turnout, citing instances where only 5-6 players would show up for training sessions. “I wish the team the best, but I couldn’t continue managing under such circumstances,” he said.
Bwera Boys FC competes in the Kitara Rwenzori Regional League in Western Uganda.
The team’s management has yet to comment on Ategeka’s resignation.
End.
