Dear people of Sheema Municipality and Uganda at large,
As we draw closer to the most joyous season of Christmas and prepare to step into the New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all. May the peace and blessings of this festive season bring joy, love, and prosperity to your homes. Let us use this time to reflect on our achievements, rekindle hope, and embrace unity as a community and a nation.
Christmas is a time of giving and gratitude. I am deeply thankful for the resilience, determination, and aspirations of the people of Sheema Municipality. Your unwavering spirit inspires me to envision a better Sheema, where opportunities are abundant, and development touches every corner.

Looking ahead to the future, I remain committed to championing the needs of our people when entrusted with the privilege of representing you in Parliament. My vision for Sheema Municipality is one of transformation, progress, and empowerment.
Youth Empowerment through Skilling Programs.
The challenge of youth unemployment continues to weigh heavily on our community. I pledge to spearhead initiatives that will equip our young people with practical skills in various trades, technology, and entrepreneurship. These programs will empower our youth to not only secure employment but also create jobs for others. Together, we can turn Sheema into a hub of innovation and self-reliance.
Infrastructure Development.
Infrastructure is the backbone of any thriving society. I will prioritize the improvement of roads, access to clean water, and reliable electricity. By enhancing connectivity and basic services, we will pave the way for greater economic opportunities and a higher quality of life for every resident of Sheema Municipality.
Voter Engagement and Representation.
I strongly believe in inclusive leadership. As your MP, I will maintain an open-door policy, ensuring that your voices are heard and your concerns addressed. Regular voter engagements will guide me in shaping policies and projects that truly reflect the needs and aspirations of our people.
Support for Education and Healthcare.
Education and healthcare are fundamental pillars of development. I will advocate for increased funding for schools and health centers in Sheema, ensuring that every child has access to quality education and every citizen can receive adequate medical care.
Let us remember to give to the less fortunate and lend a helping hand to those in need as we celebrate this joyous time of year. I also call upon each of us to renew our commitment to working together for the prosperity of Sheema Municipality and Uganda as a whole.
May the blessings of this season fill our hearts with hope and courage for the journey ahead. We can create a more promising future for Sheema and leave a legacy of development and change for future generations if we work together.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!

With great hope and determination,
Chrispas Ariyo Katunda
Aspiring MP for Sheema Municipality (2026-2031)
