NTUNGAMO, UGANDA – NRM Western Region vice chairman Asiimwe Jonard Akiiki has implored all disgruntled and aggrieved party members who lost in the party primaries to unite and throw their support behind the party’s flag bearers in their respective areas.
He made the appeal on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, during an engagement with NRM flag bearers, independent candidates, and those who lost in the primaries. The meeting, aimed at fostering harmony within the party, was held in the Ntungamo District Council Hall.
Vice chairman Asiimwe also advised independent candidates to step aside for the sake of party cohesion, ahead of the visit by NRM party chairman and presidential candidate H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to Ntungamo District on 27th November 2025.
He further called on all party members to support and campaign for President Museveni to secure the highest number of votes in the district.
