RUKIGA, UGANDA – The Rukiga district police have arrested 27-year-old Daglas Natukunda for allegedly possessing a toy pistol. The arrest was made on September 27, 2025, at 1:30 pm in Kyerero village, Kandago parish, Bukinda Sub county.
According to the police, Natukunda was found with the toy gun in his waist, prompting an investigation into the motive behind his actions. The arrest was made following a community policing meeting where residents reported seeing someone armed with a pistol in the area.
The police have commended the community for their cooperation and encouraged them to remain vigilant in preventing and fighting crime. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding Natukunda’s possession of the toy pistol.
