BUSHENYI – At least 5 People have been injured in a serious accident at St Kagwa Trading Centre along Mbarara-Ishaka Highway in Bushenyi District.
The accident that involved two motorcycles UGF 029F Bajaj Red in Colour and UEU 695M Bajaj Red in Colour happened on Wednesday 5th February 2025 at around 8Pm.
The Particulars of the victims including both the two riders and three passengers were yet to be established.
It’s alleged that the rider of motorcycle UGF 029X was from Ishaka side and turned suddenly to his right towards the road that leads to St Agnes and rammed into UEU 695M which was on its lane from Bushenyi side.
The Scene was visited by Sgt Mukungu Paul assisted by Cpl Mugabirwe Allen and all victims were rushed to KIU Hospital for treatment by good Samaritans.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed the incident stressing that both motorcycles are parked at Bushenyi Police yard pending iov inspection as inquiries continue.
