KANUNGU – A 28 year Old man has ended his life by hanging himself in a sitting room in Kakoni cell , Nyarugunda Parish, Kambuga Sub County in Kanungu district.
The deceased is Niwamanya Nelson 28 years who was living with his mother but hanged himself inside their house using a rope for yet to be known reason(s).
A case of suicide was registered to Kambuga Police station vide Sd Ref : 17/13/09/2024 and officers visited the scene, documented it and recorded relevant statements from witnesses.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson ASP Elly Maate confirmed the incident stressing that postmortem was done and the body handed over to the family members for burial.
