Sheema, Uganda – Sheema Police are actively investigating the suspected murder of 67-year-old Tindimubona Jane, a resident of Kahama cell, Rushozi ward, Kabwoohe division.
Police believe Jane was strangled by a masked assailant wielding a panga and knife.
The incident occurred last night, June 14, 2025, within Jane’s home. A family member witnessed the suspect, who remains unidentified, strangling Jane before fleeing the scene. Police promptly secured the crime scene and transported the body to Kabwoohe Health Centre IV for an autopsy.
“We are determined to bring the perpetrator to justice,” stated SP Tayebwa Apollo, Police Spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi. “Any information that could assist us in identifying and arresting the suspect is urgently needed and can be shared discreetly with Sheema Police.”
The investigation is ongoing, and police assure the public that they will keep them updated on their progress.
