On December 3, 2025, at around 8:00 PM, police received a report from 16-year-old Ampumuza Talent about the discovery of his neighbor, Ntengyereize Annah, dead in her house in Kabale Municipality.
The Kabale Homicide team, led by D/Sgt Mubangizi Deogratias, visited the scene, examined, and documented it.
Annah’s body was found seated and leaning against the wall, with a deep stab wound on the right side of her chest. A police search for the killer’s weapon and suspect(s) yielded nothing. The scene had been contaminated, making it difficult to use a sniffer dog.
The body was taken to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for a postmortem. Investigations are ongoing.
