BUSHENYI – A 96 year Old woman has who disappeared from home on 28th March 2024 has been found lifeless in Warungo River in Kyamuhunga Sub County.
The deceased is Bakeinaga Prukeriya who has been a resident of Rwenjojo cell, Kakoni Parish in Kyamuhunga, Bushenyi district.
Its alleged that the deceased disappeared from her home on 28th March until Saturday 30th March when she was discovered dead in the river, about 300 metres away from her home.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Martial Tumusiime confrirmed this sad incident to our reporter since police was notified and they immediately visited the scene with a team of homicide and soco.
The body of the deceased which had no external injuries was conveyed to Comboni Hospital Mortuary for postmortem as police are inquiries into the matter continue.
