MITOOMA – Riders and motorists have been left with unanswered questions after they were forced to pay some money in order to use Mitooma- Kashenshero road.
This incident happened in the afternoon hours of Thursday 28th November 2024 when the self proclaimed well wishers were putting murram on the damaged part of the roaad just after Ryakahimbi Primary School near Kabira-Kashenshero junction.
Riders who had no money between 1000ugx to 3,000ugx were forced to turn back and use other feeder roads mostly to access or leave Mitooma town to other towns/villages. Motorists were also forced to pay.
The people who were charging the riders and motorists were putting murram carried on a vehicle white in Colour Isuzu UAS 320U. The action put transport at a standstill for atleast two hours.
