Nigerian film star Ramsey Nouah, alongside Osita Iheme and Nancy Isime, arrived in Kampala ahead of the iKon Awards 2024, expressing admiration for East African music sensation Joshua Baraka.
Ramsey Nouah was captivated by Joshua Baraka’s soothing song “Dalilah,” featuring Axon, initially mistaking Baraka for a female vocalist. However, upon correction, he praised Baraka’s performance, describing it as “cool” and “calming,” particularly enjoying the first verse.
Reflecting on the East African music scene, Ramsey Nouah smiled broadly, acknowledging the rise of the region’s music, influenced by the serene and melodic style demonstrated by Joshua Baraka.
Ramsey Nouah’s admiration grew upon learning that Joshua Baraka had released a remix of “Dalilah,” collaborating with Nigerian artists Simi and Qing Madi, further solidifying his appreciation for Baraka’s talent.
