BUSHENYI – Local council chairpersons in Nkanga subcounty Bushenyi district are on over head with the subcounty chairperson accusing him of disrespecting them and undermining their duties.
Drama ensured in an emergency meeting that was held at Nkanga subcounty headquarters that was led by the deputy RDC Bushenyi district after receiving a petition from local council one and two chairperson in Nkanga subcounty that the subcounty chairperson Mpambire Zaverio is disrespecting them doing all the duties they should be doing and embarrassing them.
Among the many leaders whospoke to our reporter who include webale Amon ,Mutambi Elizabeth and Bamwetaki Jackson expressed their concern over how the chairperson is treating the subcounty as his home .
Meanwhile Taremwa Richard Kabomboro the chairperson Nkanga parish who led the group after being denied from exercising his duty noted that since every leader has now known his duties he hopes the chairperson will change.
Addressing them, Katsigazi William Donanto the Bushenyi district deputy RDC noted that these leaders were right to petition because the chairperson was thinking that they sease not to be their which is a bad thing that can hinder development therefore every leader should play his part.
Meanwhile Mpambire Zaverio the Nkanga subcounty chairperson noted that all the people gearing this are after politics hence has no issues with them.
