Nebbi,Uganda – The Minister of State for Minerals, Hon. Nyamutoro Phiona, today joined her constituents in Angal-Nyaravur Town Council, Nebbi District, for the National Cleaning Day exercise.
The Minister actively participated in cleaning the town council alongside local leaders and community members, in a demonstration of commitment to a clean and healthy environment as part of the nationwide campaign.
In a move aimed at strengthening maternal and child health services in the district, Hon. Nyamutoro also delivered a donation of two complete sets of neonatal incubators to Angal Hospital. The equipment is expected to support the care of premature and low-birth-weight newborns at the facility.
Community members and health workers commended the Minister for her hands-on involvement in the cleaning exercise and her continued support towards hygiene and health service delivery in the region.
