Kabale, Uganda – The Kabale District Police are investigating the death of a man identified only as Biryabarema, who was found dead in a sorghum field in Buhoro village, Rwene parish, Buhara sub-county.
The body, discovered on May 28, 2025, at approximately 1:10 p.m., was found by Naturinda Joan, who was checking her sorghum plantation.
Joan alerted neighbors, who advised her to report the incident to the Rwene Police Post and subsequently to the Kabale Chief Police Officer (CPO).
A team from the Kabale CPS responded to the scene, which was processed and documented. Statements were taken from local leaders, neighbors, and relatives.
The body was retrieved and transported to the Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.Investigations are ongoing.
