Rubirizi,Uganda – Kicwamba Orphanage has received a heartwarming donation from students of Kampala International University (KIU) in an initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable children and restoring hope.
The students donated a variety of essential items including sanitary pads, food, pens and pencils, clothes and other necessities. The donation provided much-needed support and brought smiles and comfort to the children.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Nyanzi Sebastian said the students decided to support the orphanage because they understand the challenges young people face. He said their purpose was not only to provide material assistance but also to encourage the children.

According to Sebastian, the gesture was intended to give the children hope and remind them that there are people who care about their wellbeing and future. He noted that even small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact on children who need support.
The visit was more than just a donation. It was an expression of love, compassion and solidarity with the children of Kicwamba Orphanage. Through their generosity, the KIU students demonstrated that supporting vulnerable children is a shared responsibility.
The Kicwamba Orphanage community appreciated the support, which served as encouragement to both the children and their caregivers. The initiative is a reminder that when people come together, they can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
