With only eight days remaining before the election, Byamukama says her campaign groundwork has paid off and she is optimistic about securing victory.
According to the NRM Flag bearer, she has extensively toured the district, engaged residents across various communities, and received overwhelming support from voters due to the developmental achievements like supporting education, introducing tea factory, supporting household income by giving, coffee, tea seedlings and maize seeds with their respective fertilizers among others; she has already established in Buhweju.
“I am very hopeful and I want everyone to know that I am heading to Parliament to represent Buhweju District as the Woman MP. I am the favourite to win with the higher percentage compared to NRM primaries. I have gone through the election area, the people are with me and I am very confident,”she said.

Her entry into politics has continued to generate excitement among the youth and the people of Buhweju at large since Byamukama has laid developmental projects like talent promotion (music and games and sports) among the youths, supporting developmental groups like farmers, local SACCOs, Boda Boda groups and manufacturers.

Her close competitor who attained less than 3% in primary elections has Wednesday, January 7, 2026 alerted her followers that “due to circumstances, I won’t be able to attend rallies, but I’ll be mobilizing whenever possible”
