Hajjat Azida Nanteza Basajjabalaba, in her 80s, passed away on Monday, November 10th, 2025, in Cologne, Germany, after a period of illness.
The Basajjabalaba family has not disclosed the exact cause of her death, but sources indicate she had been undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
The burial arrangements are underway, and dignitaries, including top government leaders, NRM executive members, ministers, members of parliament, business moguls, and diplomats, are expected to attend.
