Rubirizi, Uganda – Kikomeko Dennis, known professionally as Kikomeko Junior Omuziranjojo, has publicly accused Hon. Ntamuhira Rubirizi, owner of Rubirizi FM, of owing him UGX 1,380,000 in unpaid wages. Omuziranjojo, who worked as an English news and sports anchor at the station for eight months between September 2019 and April 2020, claims he was promised a monthly salary of UGX 200,000 but only received UGX 220,000 in total during his employment.
In a recent testimony, Omuziranjojo stated that he diligently fulfilled his duties without disrupting his employer’s agenda. He alleges that the station’s owner deliberately avoided providing formal employment contracts, allowing him to exploit labor laws. Omuziranjojo insists his silence regarding the unpaid wages was not an acceptance of the situation, but rather a strategic decision that has not diminished his right to seek justice.
“I have no political agenda,” Omuziranjojo declared. “I simply want the money that is rightfully mine. And I am not alone; others have also been affected by this.” He appealed to the people of Bunyaruguru to pressure Hon. Ntamuhira Rubirizi to settle the outstanding payments.

The allegations raise concerns about potential labor exploitation at Rubirizi FM. Omuziranjojo’s testimony suggests a pattern of wage underpayment and a deliberate avoidance of standard employment practices. Hon. Ntamuhira Rubirizi has yet to publicly respond to these claims. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
