NTUNGAMO – As primary seven candidates prepae for the final examinations, over 1,394 Primary seven learners from sub counties of Rugarama and Ngoma in Rushenyi County, Ntungamo district are set to sit for Pre-PLE examinations, courtesy of a city businessman Jonan Muhumuza.
During the handover of the exams at Rugarama Model Primary school yesterday, Akankwatsa Justus Kakugiro who represented Mr Muhumuza said the series of examinations are aimed enhancing academic performance amongst the candidates ahead of the November 2024 PLE examinations.
Muhumuza noted that they started with tow sub counties in the first phase but assured school managers that other sub counties will be considered in the next phases.
The head teachers including Johnson Byaruhanga the head teacher of Rugarama Model PS and Daphine Nahwera of Burama PS couldn’t hide their happiness, welcomed the idea and commended Muhumuza for the gesture.
The supplier Kyasimire Agatha warned schools against cheating of the examinations.
