BUSHENYI – Mk newslink Managing director Mr Wilber Kasibante and his wife have held a thanksgiving ceremony for surviving a nasty accident that nearly ended their lives.
The motor accident happened on 13th August 2024 at Kaziringo near Bushenyi Police Station in Bushenyi town in Bushenyi district and Recheal (wife to Kasibante) sustained serious head injuries with Wilber also escaping with minor injuries.
The main celebrant of the thaksgiving ceremony/service that happened at Ruharo Church Of Uganda Kabagarame Bushenyi was His Emeritus Bishop Yona Katonene.
Kasibante told this website that he organised the thanksgiving service so that they (christians) can collect money that will be used to complete the church whereby atleast 14 million ugx is need for the whole proccess.
Kasibante added that his other desire is to help his area(Ruharo) to have an Anglican Founded Primary School and is already in his early preparations to start the drive for the idea to various stakeholders.
Speaking at the same function, the Former Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality MP candidate Chris Mugisha “Enganzi Ya Municipality” thanked christians for supporting the work of the lord and vowed to keep supporting them in order to have a developed society.
Chris Muganzi who was represented by Mellon Tumwakiire at the function and contributed shs 500,000= towards the completion activities of the church asked christians to shun against bribery and corruption if they want to live in harmony and peace.
This website learnt that Chris Muganzi is not seated in his campaigns of standing as MP Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality 2026-31 and is already on ground looking for support towards his bid.
Other notable dignitaries who attended the service included Bushenyi -Ishaka Municipality Mayor Mr Richard Byaruhanga, district councilors among others.
