BUSHENYI – Police in Bushenyi district have mounted search for assailant(s) who killed a 22 year Old man.
The deceased is Matayo Tekayo 22 years a grandson to Bamugaya and resident of Rwandaro cell, Central Division, Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality whose body was found half naked lying in the farm of Odomaru on 21st July 2024.
The body of the deceased was found by a young boy who was rearing cows who informed other residents who later reported the matter to GISO and then to police. The body had injuries on the head, chest, legs while oozing from mouth, eyes, ears and nose.
A case of murder was registered vide CRB 643/2024, crime scene visited, examined and documented by a team of police detectives and soco who then conveyed the body of the deceased to KIU hospital mortuary for postmortem.
The Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime confirmed this incident to reporters stressing that inquries into the matter are still at hand.
