Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality race is a must watch; here are the possible candidates

BUSHENYI – Its few months to the National Resistance Movement Primary election campaigns Countrywide and in most parts of the country, everyone is waiting to see who is who is those with capacity battle for different seats.

Today as www.theserverug.com, we have decided to take a look at the Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality seat in Bushenyi district where the seat is seemingly attracting big heads.

1.Hon Derrick Kabura

This is the incumbent Member of Parliament who is serving his first term in Parliament. His economic background is a strong factor towards his success and being in power, it can be clearly seen that he has some good support in the constiguency.

Canon Mary Karooro Okurut.

The Former Security Minister, Minister for General duties in the Office of the Prime minister and former Woman MP is seen a great pillar of Bushenyi’s development due to her successful systems like empowering the community through skills.

The SPA on media has not confirmed the circulating rumours about her candidacy but if it happens that she is contesting, then it might be a different story as many voters are asking her to contest.

4.Counsel Marvin Baryaruha.

1. A strongman who conntested in the 2021 NRM Primary election though lost to the incumbent Hon Kabuura Derrick.

He put an outstanding perfomance and has been on ground socializing with voters which makes him a strong opponent if he confirms his candidacy.

4.Iddi Basajjabalaba

A son to NRM’s Chairman Dr El Hajji Hassan Basajjabalaba is seemingly interested in the Constituency top most seat though he has not been used to politics.

Given his stable economic background, his candidacy will straightly turn the hills upside down.
