Bushenyi, Uganda – The National Resistance Movement (NRM) party elections in Bushenyi district are heating up, with a number of new candidates declaring their intentions to contest various positions.
The NRM, Uganda’s governing party, is led by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as the National Chairman.
Under the leadership of District Chairperson El Hajj Hassan Basajjabalaba, the party continues to demonstrate success through initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation, such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga programs initiated by His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
One notable contender is Enganjani Rogers Apuuli, a well-established radio presenter currently working as a news presenter at 92.2 BFM Radio Bushenyi.
He is also the Managing Director of Enganjani Property Masters Ltd. Mr. Apuuli has declared her intention to run for the position of Party Publicity Secretary.
