BUSHENYI – Teachers have been challenged to befriend students especially candidate classes if they want a successful perfomance at their respective schools.
This message comes just 2 days after the official opening of Primary and Secondary Schhols in Uganda for second term for the academic year 2024.
Our reporter visited several schools and found students/pupils in class and also visited candidate classes mostsly S.4 and S.6 where he found learners seriously learning as they prepare for mock examinations this term.
We visited Basajjabalaba Secondary School Ishaka Office and found head teacher Nakalanzi zamula in office who firstly thanked parents for supporting their children by providing fees, scholastic materials among others.
She tasked teachers and learners to use this second term productively so that by 3rd term they are are set and ready for the end of year examination(s).
