BUSHENYI – A 54 year old man has perished in a road accident that happened at Kiyagara along Ishaka-Rutookye road on Thursday 14th November 2024 afternoon.
The accident involved Motorvehicle Reg No UAN 654U Canter Blue in Colour and Motorcycle registration No UFW 241Q red in colour that was being ridden by Muhereza Pathius (deceased) a resident of Nyakashebeya Nyabubaare Sub County in Bushenyi.
Its alleged that the motorvehicle was coming from Rutookye side and on reaching Kyiyagara village its driver lost control and collided with the rider of the motorcycle which was coming from Ishaka side.
According to the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson SSP Marcial Tumusiime, traffic police led by IP Baguma visited the scene documented it and conveyed the body of the deceased to Ishaka Adventist Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
By press time, both the motorvehicle and the motorcycle were parked at Kizinda Police Station pending inspection by IOV as inquiries continue.
