NEWS – A 20 Million Electricity project has been Launched in Mugyera Parish, Katanda Sub County in Rubirizi district.
This project is aimed at extending electricity to rural areas and has already been launched in most parts of the country.
Mugyera parish has various institutions including churches, Primary Schools and Secondary schools but they have for long been in darkness due to lack of electricity.

By press time, poles were already and place and residents expected light very soon. This project is funded by Arineitwe Jeniva Nnalongo (Rubirizi district Woman MP aspirant)
